Founding Physician
I'm Dr. Duffy, founder and owner of Compass Direct Care.
I am a proud graduate of Boston University, Nova Southeastern University College of Osteopathic Medicine and Walter Reed Army Medical Center. I am Internal Medicine board certified, have been practicing medicine for over 15 years, and started my career as a US Army physician. During my free time I enjoy the local boating lifestyle and cherish spending quality time with my wife and five kids.
My professional mission is simple: to bring back the doctor-patient relationship. As a physician, I believe this is the foundation of high-quality care. My practice provides the opportunity for us to make healthcare decisions on your terms. It is an honor and a privilege to practice medicine the way it was intended— investing wholeheartedly in patient care and developing a relationship rooted in trust, confidence, and compassion.

What is Direct Primary Care?
Direct Primary Care (DPC) makes high-quality primary care amazingly simple and affordable. Patients pay a monthly membership fee for unlimited access to their primary care physician. This fee covers primary care services, procedures, diagnostic testing, as well as care coordination and comprehensive case management.
DPC practices are small (typically 300-600 patients, compared to 2,000-3,000 in traditional fee-for-service practices). This allows us to offer longer appointments, same-day or next-day scheduling, and direct communication with your doctor via phone, text, or email.
